AccelerateIP Application Information
British Columbia-based companies are invited to apply to AccelerateIP's next application intake, which is coming up in May 2025. The AccelerateIP program will be running until March 31, 2026 and offers two different streams of funding to help small- and medium-sized businesses cover their legal and IP costs:
Stream 2 Costs for legal support
If you’re ready to apply for legal support and further develop your IP strategy, this is the right stream for you~ Apply for the potential opportunity to receive up to $25,000 to cover the costs of working with a legal service provider.
Co-investment is 25%, or 10% for startups that are majority-Indigenous owned. The final approval will be based on the quote provided.
Stream 3: IP Implementation
Have a strong IP strategy in place? Ready to apply for a patent or trademark? This is the right stream for you. You can apply to potentially have up to $60,000 of the costs of working with a legal service provider covered.
